The Floodplain Meadows Partnership has recently launched a new handbook on floodplain meadows called “Beauty and Utility”.

Farnham’s annual charity bike ride will take place this year on Sunday 3rd July, so there is plenty of time to get out that bike and start training!

With agreement from the Bishop’s Meadow Trust, the Environment Agency has started work on creating a fish passage in the River Wey close to the Farnham Gauging Station.

Ed Partridge, one of the Bishop’s Meadow Trust Directors, found a barn owl lying on the Bishop’s Meadow recently.

Thanks to an amazing group of volunteers, two wildlife protection areas are well under way on the Meadow.

We are delighted to welcome 2 new directors/trustees to the Board of the Bishop’s Meadow Trust.

The Bishop’s Meadow Trust has been approached by the Environment Agency to make improvements to the weir on part of the River Wey which runs through the meadow.

Artist, photographer and local resident Xoanxo Cespon held an exhibition in late September 2015 at the Farnham Museum of a selection of his photos of the Bishop’s Meadow.
