Dear Members,
There will be a working party on the 25th of June.
This is a very important working party because next month we expect the annual hay harvest and judges are coming on the 6th July to assess our entry in South East in Bloom. Both demand a lot of preparation. We have ragwort and docks to get rid of, tidying up to be done and notices to put up.
On 11th July, we have 18 volunteers from Scottish and Southern Electricity coming to help us to put up fencing and prepare for the installation of a cattle drinking trough.
I know that making time to come along is sometimes difficult (why is it that life always gets busier as one gets older?) but without your help, the Trust could not have achieved what it has so far and we really appreciate whatever time you can spare.
We will be meeting at 10.00 by Crosby Gate as usual. Please bring a fork and work gloves. We will provide water and other tools.
Look forward to seeing you,
Jim Munro
