There has been lots of work going on since the AGM in September. Much of the work that is undertaken is making sure that the land is managed responsibly and we wanted to share what’s been going on behind the scenes to help maintain this piece of much-loved land.

Some great work has been done in recent weeks to help manage the meadows and the Trust has been greatly helped by The Skill Mill volunteers and the 3rd Farnham Scouts.

Season of mists, mellow fruitfulness... and rain!
One of the first tasks for us to tackle was the abundant vegetation from the bottom and one side of the Tudor Ditch. The Ditch gets most of its water from the Pengilly Road area surface drain run off. When the weather has been dry and hot like much of this year, it's no wonder that when the rains do come, the vegetation jumps with joy and gets growing!
